Today (December 4), will once again see the Co Tyrone town of Coalisland staging the annual switch-on of the town’s Christmas lights.
This year will see a ‘new look’ Christmas tree be luminated as the annual switch-on takes place today from 5pm – 7pm.
With lots of festive fun from 5pm -6.30pm, including Christmas music performed by The Crafty Crows live on stage, face painting, walkabout characters, and the opportunity to meet Santa in his cosy corner in the Cornmill Heritage Centre, there’s plenty on the agenda to keep the young (and not so young) entertained.
As part of the festivities CRAIC Theatre will take to the stage from 6.30pm to 6.50pm with the Christmas Lights Switch-On due to take place at approximately 6.50pm.
As well as all this, the Coalisland Fianna GFC popular annual Christmas Fair returns again to the Parochial Centre from 1pm – 5pm.
