A large crowd turned out to attend the return of Mid Ulster District Council’s Coalisland Halloween event and fireworks at Gortgonis last night, Monday October 31.
The free event took place from 6pm – 9.30pm with the spectacular fireworks display at 8.45pm.
The free funfair proved very popular with big and little kids alike and even the torrential rain didn’t dampen spirits.
Chair of the Council’s Development Committee, Councillor Sean Clarke attended the event and counted down to the grand fireworks finale.
This year marked the return of the popular Halloween events and fireworks displays following a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
