Full fibre broadband is expected to arrive in Moy this Spring.
Hyperfast NI made the announcement for the works which are being conducted as part of Project Stratum which aims to bring full fibre, Hyperfast broadband to rural communities in Northern Ireland.
The project, delivered by Fibrus, says the investment will “revolutionise connectivity in rural areas by extending gigabit capable full fibre broadband infrastructure to approximately 76,000 homes and businesses across Northern Ireland which don’t have access to meaningful broadband services”.
A virtual event providing information on the Hyperfast NI build and timescales on the works has been organised for residents of Moy on Wednesday February 8.
The project has been supported by the Department for the Economy, the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs and the UK Government.
