The Southern Health and Social Care Trust vaccination teams are in Dungannon this weekend to deliver COVID and FLU vaccinations.
The teams will be at The Junction, Dungannon on Sunday January 15, between the hours of 10.30am and 3pm.
At the present time, only certain groups can book to use the Trust vaccination clinics. If you do not meet any of the following criteria you may still be eligible for a vaccination at your GP surgery or local pharmacy.
Any under 12-year-old booking requires an adult with parental responsibility to book on their behalf.
For first or second COVID-19 vaccinations you must be over 5 years old.
For initial booster COVID-19 vaccinations you must be one of the following:
- you are over 16 years old
- you are over 5 years old and either:
- you have previously received a letter from your GP/Trust clinician specifically stating that you require a 3rd primary dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- or you have a severe underlying health condition
- or you live in a household with an immunosuppressed person who has received a letter from their GP/Trust clinician
For 3rd primary COVID-19 (not a booster) vaccinations you must be one of the following:
- you are over 12 years old and have received a letter from your GP/Trust clinician specifically stating that you require a 3rd primary dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Autumn Booster
- Everyone over 50+
- 5-49 year olds immunosuppressed
- 5-49 year olds household contacts of immunosuppressed
- 16-49 year old carers
- Frontline SHSCT staff
- Pregnant women
FLU vaccine
- Everyone over 50+
- 16-17 years clinically at risk
- Pregnant women
- Frontline SHSCT staff
- Immunosuppressed
- Household contacts of immunosuppressed
Children will access the FLU vaccine through the school vaccination programme.
Those attending for vaccination must bring photographic ID or proof of address/DOB and where possible a Health & Care Number and the date of your previous vaccination (if applicable).
