Dungannon Enterprise Centre was the busy site of practical business advice, support, networking and guidance for 24 ambitious new female entrepreneurs who attended the ‘Imagine It’ bootcamp on Friday October 14.
The ‘Imagine It’ event, aimed at providing support to women in pursuit of making their business dreams a reality, will be taking place across 6 different locations in Northern Ireland. With the Belfast and Dungannon bootcamps now concluded, ‘Imagine It’ will be encouraging change, confidence and communication with full day sessions planned in Ballymena, Derry/Londonderry, Newry and Omagh in the coming weeks.
The Dungannon bootcamp was facilitated by Women in Business NI’s Mentor and Trainer, Roisin McDermott and esteemed business advisor Rosemary Morrision of Directus NI.
The group also benefited from live talks with business owners Leona Morrow, of LM Transport Consultants and Judith Baird of Employmint UK. These ladies discussed their own personal journeys with attendees, sharing details of how they developed their dreams into reality and a provided a key in-sight by detailing some of the challenges they faced along the way.
Fledgling female entrepreneurs were encouraged to remember this well-known quote as the takeaway from the day, “at the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take”.
Details on the remaining ‘Imagine It’ bootcamps can be found here.
