Dungannon Enterprise Centre are calling all choirs!
‘Tis the season to be jolly, so if you are part of a choir that know how to ramp-up the fun, festive energy then your attendance is required in Dungannon Town Centre on Saturday November 26.
As part of this year’s Dungannon Christmas Lights Switch-On Celebrations organised by Mid Ulster District Council, there will be the added excitement of a Christmas Choir Busking Competition.
Fill the air with Christmas cheer and be in with a chance of winning £200 in prize money, all while celebrating the arrival of Christmas, as the town tree lights are switched on in all their twinkling glory.
The busking competition is due to take place between 1pm and 3pm and interested choirs should contact Mandy at Dungannon Enterprise Centre via email here or call on 028 87723489.
As part of the wider Christmas Tree Lights Switch On there will be family-focused festive fun will in Market Square from 1pm including music to get you in the festive mood from on-stage DJ, Choirs and the Manhattan Swing Band, face painting and family fun activities hosted in The Space, Market Square.
Who better to switch on the Christmas lights than old Saint Nick himself? Santa’s schedule has been checked and Mid Ulster Council are expecting his arrival at approximately 7.45pm.
Please note that the Market Square Car Park will be closed from 5pm to 10pm with diversions in place during this time.
