McCann, Una. We, the family of the late Una McCann, wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all who expressed kindness and support following our recent bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family, friends, neighbours and well wishers who called at the house, lined the cortege route, attended the funeral in person and those who watched online. To those who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. We also thank those who sent mass and sympathy cards, letters, flowers, donations to Chest, Heart & Stroke Association and for the many phone calls and messages received.
We are most grateful to all the medical professionals who cared for mum through her recent illness, especially the doctors, nurses and the Palliative care team on Ward 7 in SWAH for the care given to mum during these difficult times.
A very special word of thanks to the many carers who have assisted mum during her many years of declining health and for the kindness they showed to her and the family. We offer thanks to Ida Garrity for her kindness over the wake and providing the funeral tea. We also offer sincere thanks to Fr Padraig McKenna and Canon John McKenna for providing a touching eulogy during the mass.
Much appreciation to Sineád Moncrieff and her organist for the beautiful music and singing. Our heartfelt thanks to Dominic and Marie at Kelly’s Funeral Directors for their dignified and respectful manner in carrying out their duties and to the gravedigger who prepared mum’s final resting place.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually. please accept this acknowledgement as a small token of the family’s sincere gratitude,
Trillick, Dromore, Irvinestown, Ederney and Omagh.
