Thank you to all those who sympathised with them through their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, donated to Oesophageal Cancer Fund or expressed condolences in person or via telephone and social media.

Thank you to all who were present at the Funeral Mass or joined us via webcam. Our sincerest gratitude to Father Michael O’ Leary for the beautiful Requiem Mass and we would like to sincerely thank Fr John Forbes, Fr Eddie Gallagher, Fr Gerard Mongan, Fr Charles LaWango and Fr Jack Twomey for their spiritual attendance, guidance and support throughout Séamus’s illness.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and all staff of St Bernadette’s Ward and St Veronica’s Ward, Bon Secours Hospital, Cork who cared for Séamus with kindness, respect and dignity. We convey our thanks to the sacristan and everyone who assisted in the Funeral Mass.

Thanks to Fiona O’Reilly and Patrick Kileen for providing such beautiful music and to Anton Breathneach for his heartfelt music at the graveside.

Thank you to Jerh. O’Connor funeral services for the way all the arrangements were carried out, all in a very caring, professional and dignified manner. Thank you also to the gravediggers who prepared Séamus’s final resting place.

Thank you to Flannery’s of Glasheen for the beautiful refreshments provided. A word of thanks to Brú Columbanas for providing accommodation and overwhelming support to the family during this sad and difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
