Acknowledgement for the late Sammy McCutcheon (Omagh)

McCutcheon, Sammy. We, Sharon and Tracy the daughters of the late Sammy McCutcheon wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

Thanks to our family, friends and neighbours in Shandon Park and to all those who called to the wake, lined the funeral route, attended the funeral and graveyard, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and floral tributes, we are overwhelmed, it has shown to us the true esteem in which our father, a Gentleman, was held. Thank you.

We wish to express our appreciation to the Doctors, reception staff, practice and district nurses of Drumragh family practice who cared for Daddy with such warmth, care and attention over the years and to Damien and staff at Omagh Pharmacy, we are truly grateful.

Thanks also to the Doctors and nurses at the Cancer centre Derry, South West Acute Hospital, Palliative care team, Macmillan team and the hospital chaplain for their care of Daddy and their compassion at a very emotional and difficult time.

A special word of thanks to Fr Hassan for his visits, spiritual guidance and for celebrating Dad’s requiem mass and to Aine and Marie for the beautiful music, thanks also to Rev Rr Ignacy Saniuta.
We would like to thank the piper Robert McCutcheon for playing outside the church.

Our heartfelt thanks to J Maguire funeral Directors for the professional caring and attentive manner in which Dad’s funeral arrangements were carried out and to Mickey Turner for his help, also to Charlie for preparing Dad’s final resting place.

Thanks to Carmel and Tracey and the INF Omagh for providing the refreshments on the day.

As it is impossible to thank everyone we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

Sadly missed by his daughters Sharon (Steven), Tracy (Devin) and Grandchildren Aaron, Aoife and Saoirse,Omagh.

Dads Month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Monday 18th October at 7.30pm in the Sacred Heart Church Omagh.
