Acknowledgement for the late Rita McGirr (Fintona)

McGirr (née Curley), passed away on the September 20. Rita.  a widely respected lady and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

We have been overwhelmed by the number of cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Also to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the service or via the webcam.

A special word of thanks to Father Peter McAnenly for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially the singer Angela Morgan who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Rita’s final resting place.
We extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors of South West Acute Hospital, who cared so well for Rita during her time there.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
