Acknowledgement for the late Raymond Hewitt (Tullyhogue)

Hewitt, Raymond. Ruth, Alison, Helen and Bryan wish to thank most sincerely all the family, relations, friends, neighbours and employees for the sympathy, kindness and support shown to them all during their sad bereavement in July and who continue to show support.

We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses from the Oaks Family Practice, the daily carers from the Northern Trust, the doctors and nurses from Dalriada Urgent Care and the nurses and carers from Marie Curie and N.I. Hospice.

Most sincere thanks for the many donations and sympathy cards received, to all those who telephoned, those who left food parcels on the doorstep and sent flowers.

Due to covid restrictions only family, relations and close friends were able to attend the church service, thanks to all those who lined the route from Tullyhogue to Desertcreat Parish Church.

Special thanks to Rev David Bell for his words of comfort to us all when calling with Raymond and for conducting such a personal funeral service.

To Mr Bryan Dunlop for playing the organ especially Waltzing Matilda which was so poignant for Helen watching back home in Australia and Mr Thomas Harpur for the tunes he played on his flute and Rev Bell for accompanying him on his guitar.

Thanks also to the grave diggers, to Isobel for the lovely flowers and to Bryan and Carole Steenson for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
