Acknowledgement for the late Peter Nugent (Omagh)

Peter’s wife Philomena, sons, daughters, and extended family, would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who have sympathised and supported us during our recent sad loss of our dear Peter. Thank you to all who attended both the wake and funeral, especially those that travelled long distances.

For those who offered their condolences, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, text messages, left sympathy messages on RIP pages, and sent beautiful floral tributes. To those who made a socially distanced visit to the house, to friends and neighbours who helped out and brought refreshments, especially the Donnelly family whose help was invaluable.

A huge thank you to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service who treated Peter with great care and dignity in his final moments. To Fr. Sean O’Neill who attended the house to administer the last rites to Peter. To those who travelled with us on Peter’s final journey and to those who stood out along the route as well as outside the chapel and joined us on web cam.

Sincere thanks to Fr. Andrew Tully and Fr. Michael O’Dwyer for celebrating Peter’s beautiful Funeral mass. Thank you to Paudge Quinn Funeral Directors for their caring, prompt, and professional approach at all times. A special thanks to the grave diggers who prepared Peter’s final resting place, and to the Florist for the beautiful flowers. To Caoimhe Loughran for the beautiful music. Thank you to Quinn’s Corner for the lovely meal they provided us with after the Funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation for your kindness.

Peter’s Months Memory Mass will be celebrated at a later date due to the current Covid- 19 pandemic (details to follow).
