Paul’s wife Mary, sons Patrick, Martin, Paul, Kieran, Sean, daughters Rose-Marie and Catherine, brothers John and Francie, grandchild Eddie and in-laws wish to express our thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sudden and devastating loss of our much loved husband, father, brother and grandfather.

A special word of thanks to the emergency services, including the Killeeshil-Galbally First Responders and Fr. Michael O’Dwyer who assisted and attended Paul on the evening of his death.
To all of our family, friends and neighbours who stood outside their homes as a mark of respect on the night we brought Paul’s remains home, we thank you and acknowledge this as a great sense of comfort to us all.

To our family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, text messages and voiced condolences on social media, we convey our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for their prayers and comforting words.
We send our thanks and appreciation to all of those who brought food to the house and helped out in various ways during the wake.

We extend our very special thanks to Fr. McGuckian, Fr. Moore and neighbouring clergy for their continued spiritual support and prayers.

To all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who turned out in such great numbers outside our home on the morning of the funeral, who lined the route to the Church of St John the Baptist in Galbally and who respectfully gathered outside the chapel during the funeral mass, we thank you for all your prayers and support. Thank you also to the members of Galbally Pearses GAC who formed a guard of honour outside the chapel and for presenting our family with a commemorative gift on the morning of the funeral. We also wish to thank the members of Torrent Credit Union for their acknowledgement of Paul’s many years of service and dedication as a Director.

A sincere word of thanks to Fr. Moore for the celebration of the Requiem Mass and for his dignified and heartfelt homily. We also wish to thank Malachi Cush for his beautiful and dignified music and singing during the Requiem Mass.

To our relatives and friends who undertook grave digging duties with such care; we offer you our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

A heartfelt word of thanks and appreciation to Paudge Quinn who carried out Paul’s funeral arrangements in such a caring, dignified and professional manner. We also wish to thank Quinn’s Corner for providing our family with food after the funeral mass.

Finally, as it is not possible to thank everyone individually; we sincerely trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Paul’s Months Mind Mass will be held on Friday 15th January at 7.30pm in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Galbally. Mass can be viewed via webcam online.
