Hamill (née O’Hanlon), Maura. A much loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Her husband George, children; Brenda, Mark, Orla, Brian, Peter and Rebecca would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have sympathised and supported them throughout
their recent bereavement.
We would like to thank the Paramedics and staff in Ward 1 South in Craigavon Area hospital, with special thanks to the McMillan nurses who cared for Maura during the final days of her short illness.
We would like to say thanks to everyone who called at our home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolences, telephoned, posted messages on social media sent flowers and gave donations to McMillan Cancer Support.
Our sincere thanks are extended to our kind neighbours, friends, relatives and local community who have helped us in many ways to aid us to grieve as a family and who have supported us during this difficult time and continue to offer their support to the family.
We would like to thank those who lined the funeral route, attended the funeral and joined the mass via Parish webcam. Thanks to all of the local clubs and committees who provided guards of honour at the funeral.
We are eternally grateful to Fr Moore for visiting the house and for his support, prayers and spiritual guidance as well as for celebrating Maura’s life during the funeral mass supported by Fr McCallion and Michael.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to and participated in the ceremony including Thomas Hamill (God son) & Rory Madden and Maura’s grandchildren for providing the beautiful music. Thanks to all of the readers including Maura’s god children and grandchildren who provided beautiful & poignant prayers of the faithful and a reflection to their grandmother and for Maura’s sisters for the offertory procession.
We are extremely grateful to Paudge Quinn Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger who prepared Maura’s final resting place
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Maura’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Chapel, Donaghmore, on Friday 2nd of July at 7.30 PM and via the parish Webcam.
