Acknowledgement for the late Marella Devine (Strabane)

Devine (née Christy), Marella. Deborah and Gareth, John, Patricia, grandchildren, sisters and brother would like to express our thankfulness to the many kind Relatives, Neighbours and Friends who supported us during our recent loss.

We were extremely comforted and thankful to those who took the time to express their sympathy by attending Marella’s Wake and Funeral and to those who sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, and also to our Relatives and friends abroad who viewed the Mass via web-cam.

Thank you to all the staff of the North West Cancer Centre. We will always be indebted to them for the excellent care and attention to Marella and our Family during this tragic time. We are indebted to the local Community Nursing Staff who were a daily support and friend to Marella over the past year and the caring staff from Marie Curie who watched over Marella and us. We cannot adequately express our gratitude to them all.

As a Family we would like to express a very special word of thanks to Father Doherty and Father Forbes for their support and for celebrating Marella’s Requiem Mass in such a respectful and personal way. Thank you also to Ruth and Gerard for the beautiful music.

As it is impossible to thank everyone, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation for the comfort you all bestowed upon us at this difficult time.

Marella’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Melmount, Strabane on Sunday May, 202 12 at 10.30am mass.
