Acknowledgement for the late Laurence Doherty (Strabane)

Doherty, Laurence. The sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in –law, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the late Laurence Doherty would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported them through their recent sad loss of a much loved dad, (husband of the late Nellie and father of the late Thomas and Joseph).

We give heartfelt thanks to all those who offered up prayers, visited our home, sent Mass cards, provided food and offered help in anyway. We extend a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses in Altnagelvin Hospital and Riverside Practice and to all the carers.

To the Palliative Care Team for all their care and unwavering guidance and support. Thank you to David Hampton for his assistance. A very special thanks to Fr. Gerard Sweeney, Fr. Declan Boland, Fr. Eugene Boland and to Fr. Shan for his home visits.

To Fr. Sweeney for the beautiful Mass and spiritual support.

Also the organist and soloist for the beautiful music. To all our amazing neighbours who gave so much help and support. To Quigley Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement goes some way in expressing our deep appreciation to all.

Laurence’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Derry Road on Thursday May  19, at 7p.m.

46b Derry Road, Strabane.
