Acknowledgement for the late John Murray (Cookstown)

Murray, John. The wife, son and brothers of the late John Murray RIP, (The Pines, Cookstown), wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the extended family circle, kind neighbours and friends who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

Thanks to the Emergency Services who attended John at the scene and supported the family.

We are very appreciative of all those who called at the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages on social media, telephoned, sent floral tributes and helped around our home.
We appreciate the strength gained from your constant presence.

We were also touched by the kindness and generosity of those who brought food to the house in the days following John’s passing and to the Dunleath Bar for providing the food following the funeral.

Sincere thanks to all those who lined the route on the day of the funeral, the Fr Rocks Cookstown GAA guard of honour, attended the Funeral or joined via webcam.

A special word of thanks to Fr Lawrence Boyle for his spiritual support, and for celebrating the Requiem Mass, in memory of John. Thank you to the Gribbin Girls who provided the beautiful music, the Church sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, Church stewards and those who prepared the grave.

We express our sincere appreciation to Niall Loughran Funeral Directors for their professionalism and the considerate and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday September 5, at 12.00pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown and streamed here
