Acknowledgement for the late James Beattie (Trillick)

Beattie, James (Jim), July 19, 2021. We, the family of James Beattie, would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all those who supported us throughout James’s short illness and passing.

We will be forever grateful to all the doctors and nurses of Ward 1 SWAH, Castlederg Paramedics, Fintona District Nursing Team alongside Marie Curie Nurses and Rapid Response nurses, Care Plus carers, Fintona Medical Practice, Fintona Medical Hall and Una Cassidy Chemists.

Thank you to family, friends and neighbours who reached out to us to offer their condolences whether it was in person or telephoned and left messages online or via social media, sent Mass cards and Sympathy cards and made donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie.

We want to thank those who generously brought refreshments during the wake and those who stood reverently outside our home, along the funeral route and at the graveyard.

A special word of thanks to Fr Kevin Connolly for his beautiful, personal Mass and to Rev Patrick MacEntee for his kind words and prayers in our home.

Thank you to Louise Coyle for her beautiful singing at the funeral Mass. Special thanks to McAtee Funeral Directors for their sincere kindness and professionalism shown to James and our family throughout and to the gravediggers.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
James’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 27th August at 10.00am.

Son (Martin), daughters (Caroline, Josephine, Angeline and Winifred) and extended family.
