Keep up with Tyrone i

Acknowledgement for the late Elizabeth Kelly (Trillick)

Kelly, Elizabeth (Betty). We, the family of Betty Kelly (nee McCaffrey), would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with, and supported us through, our recent bereavement.

We especially want to thank relatives, friends, neighbours and the wider community who helped us during this difficult time. We are overwhelmed by the phone calls, messages, kind gestures and the many sympathy and mass cards.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Altnagelvin hospital, Derry, who supported us through this emotional journey, and to the ambulance service who showed us such kindness and compassion when we needed it most.

To all who helped at the wake, attended the funeral and watched the funeral online, thank you. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Father Kevin Connolly for the beautiful Requiem Mass; McAtee’s Funeral directors for the sensitive and professional manner in which they carried out their duties; and the gravediggers for preparing Betty’s final resting place.

We would also like to thank Louise Coyle for the beautiful music in the Chapel.

Betty will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Philip; daughter and best friend, Clare; adoring sons, Fearghal and Michael; loving brothers and sisters Sean, Margo, Rita, Celia, Bernie, Martina and Rory, in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.

Mum’s month’s mind mass will be held in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, on Friday July 16, at 7.30pm.
