Daly. Elizabeth: 12th January 2021: 14 Mulnagore Road, Cookstown BT80 9BS.
Elizabeth’s family, Sean, Cormac, Clodagh and Keara, daughters-in-law Wendy and Justine, sons-in- law Eugene and Plunkett, grandchildren Grace, Eve, Eoin, Sarah, Mary and Peter wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the passing of our dear Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother.
Thank you to all who cared for Elizabeth throughout her life including the staff of Ardmore Surgery Dungannon, Dungannon Community Integrated Care Team, the various Care Workers who called with Elizabeth in her later years including those from the Southern Trust Domiciliary Care Team and Clogher Valley Care and the staff of the Torrent Pharmacy Donaghmore and Medichem Pharmacy Dungannon. Special thanks also to all in Corkhill Care Centre who cared for Elizabeth with such a dignified and empathetic manner while she lived with them for a period of time; it truly was a home from home for Elizabeth.
Heartfelt thanks to all who respected our request for adherence to current Covid wake restrictions whilst providing much needed support via telephone calls, social media and delivery of food over the waking period.
To all our relatives, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and members of Donaghmore Ladies GAA who stood at various points along the route from our home to Donaghmore and to those who respectfully remained outside the church for the duration of the Mass and subsequent burial, thank you for your support. Your presence was of great comfort to us.
Thank you to Fr Moore for his pastoral care and celebration of the Requiem Mass which included a fitting homily perfectly capturing Elizabeth’s love for life, her family and her faith. To Caoimhe Loughran and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful singing and music, thank you for gracefully enhancing the ceremony. To everyone who viewed the Mass via webcam, we knew you were with us in spirit, thank you for joining us.
Our appreciation also to Patrick Quinn and Son Funeral Directors who carried out Elizabeth’s wake and funeral arrangements in a caring, dignified and professional manner.
To all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters expressing love and respect for our beautiful mother, to all who sent messages via social media and to those who sent floral arrangements both to the grave and to our home, we offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
Finally, as it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
Elizabeth’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Donaghmore on Thursday 11th February 2021 at 7.30 pm and can be viewed on Webcam via the donaghmoreparish.ie website.
