Corr, Edel. Peter, Paul, Terry and the entire family circle of the late Edel Corr would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes and messages on social media. Thanks to all who visited the house and the church where Edel was reposing and attended the funeral or viewed it online via webcam.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all those who cared for Edel, especially Coalisland district nursing team, medical, nursing and support staff Craigavon Area Hospital and Bridgewater suite Belfast city hospital, MacMillan, Marie Curie and the twilight nursing teams, Doctor O’Donnell and staff at Coalisland Health centre, the Southern Area Hospice and Dorman’s chemist.
We are indebted to Fr. Eugene O’Neill PP, Fr John McCallion CC and Deacon Stephen Wilson for the spiritual support they gave to Edel during her illness and for celebrating her requiem mass.
Thanks to Friends of Zambia for their guard of honour at her funeral. Thanks to Siobhan O’Neill and Roisin McCurry for the lovely music which greatly enhanced the mass.
Thanks also to Michael Dorman and Peter Devlin Funeral Directors and their team for the compassionate and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers.
Finally, thank you to all Edel’s friends and neighbours who supported her during her illness and who continue to support us following her death.
Edel’s month mind will be celebrated on Monday August 9, at 7:30pm at the Church of the Holy Family, Platers Hill Coalisand.
