Ruddy, Dan. The family of the late Dan Ruddy (R.I.P.) who passed away on July 8, 2021 wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to everyone who called at the wake, contacted us by telephone or social media, brought Mass and Sympathy cards, sent flowers and attended the funeral;
Special thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped out during the wake.
To the Doctors and staff of Antrim Area Hospital; Fairfield’s Nursing home, The Oaks Family Practice and especially Dan’s carers for the care, warmth and kindness they provided to Dan during his later months.
To Niall A Loughran funeral directors for the professional and caring manner in which Dan’s funeral arrangements was carried out.
To Stephen Mallon for the beautiful flowers; the grave diggers and a special word of thanks to Gabriel Greene – your kindness towards us will never be forgotten.
A special word of thanks to Fr Slater for his visits to Fairfield’s Nursing Home and also to the house; attending the house during the wake, for celebrating Requiem Mass and for the touching eulogy. Thanks also to Fr Boyle for the time he spent with us during the wake and to Deacon Eamon Quinn.
To Eadbhard and Hannah for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass;
Thanks also to Mickey McElhatton and his staff of the Greenvale Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral;
As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally who was so kind to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Dan’s months mind Mass will be held on Sunday August 8, 2021 at 10.30am in St Johns Chapel, Slatequarry.
