Acknowledgement for the late Celestine McSorley (Dungannon)

Mc Sorley, late of 12 Killymeal Park Dungannon, died 31st March 2021. Celestine, beloved husband of the late Annie. Much loved father of Suzanne Mc Elhatton, Deirdre Mc Aleer, Gráinne Mc Kenna, Francis, John Martin, Austin, Eugene, Michael. Sons in law, Daughters in law, and grandchildren. Brother of Paddy, Frank, John, Mary Hughes, Eileen Goodwin, Ann Carolan, Bernie Hurl.

We as a family, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with us on daddy’s recent passing.
We have been overwhelmed by the volume of calls, and Mass cards , letters and flowers which we received. We drew great comfort from all those who lined the funeral route on the way to St. Patrick’s Church Dungannon. We offer our sincere thanks to Dean Donaghy for his spiritual guidance throughout this time, and for offering the requiem mass for daddy.

Thank you to all who joined us in person and online on the Parish webcam especially Emily his daughter in law, Lila and Rosie granddaughters in Boston. For Emily’s beautifully written and heartfelt letter she dedicated to daddy, it was such a comforting and touching eulogy.

A special word of thanks to Andrea Begley and Paddy Slevin for the graceful singing and delicate choice of music.

We offer our sincere thanks to PJ Quinn and son Patrick funeral directors for the dignified and respectful way in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.

To everyone who helped out at the wake supplying food and making tea, for the love and support they showed to us as a family at this sad time, please except this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to you all.

Daddy’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St. Patricks Church Dungannon, on Friday 30th April 2021 at 7.30pm. The mass can be viewed HERE
