McGrath, Brian, 16 February 2021 Deeply regretted by his loving wife Veronica, his children Angela, Aidan, Nicola, Damian and Charlene, his sons-in-law Paddy, Mickey and Anthony and daughter-in-law Kym, his grandchildren Laura, Daniel, Aisling, Lorcan, Erin, Finn, Megan, Marley, Hazel and Ruairi and the entire family circle. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sent letters, Mass cards, sympathy cards, offered online condolences, sent flowers, donated so generously to SVDP, brought refreshments and supported us in many ways.
To all those who joined us for Brian’s last journey to St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, our good neighbours in Richmond Park and to those who stood along the way, as well as those who joined us via the webcam.
To Father McElhennon for his support over the years and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and heartfelt sermon which was a fitting tribute to Brian’s life and offered great solace to the family.
Our thanks also to Leanne Daly for providing the beautiful music which enhanced the liturgy.
Our appreciation to the staff from Ward 1 of South West Acute Hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff of Three Spires Surgery, Martina and the District Nursing Team, Brenda and Cathy from the Social Care team, the carers from North West Care and Lakeland Community Care and to Patrick, Sinead and the staff of Slevin’s Chemist whose help and support over the years has proven invaluable.
A sincere thanks to O’Kane Brothers for the dignified and respectful manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to those who prepared the grave.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped in any way.
Brian’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher at 10am on Tuesday, 16th March and can be viewed via the parish webcam.
