Acknowledgement for the late Brian McGillion (Gortin)

McGillion, Brian. The family of the late Brian McGillion, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us at his sudden passing. We greatly appreciated the support from family, neighbours and friends who helped us out in so many ways during our recent, sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to the Emergency Services who attended to Brian in such a compassionate manner. Our thanks to those who attended Brian’s wake and funeral, who sent messages, mass and sympathy cards, food and flowers. Thank you to those also who lined the funeral route and outside the Church. A special word of thanks to Father Gallagher and Father Forbes who visited the house and celebrated the funeral mass.

We are extremely grateful to McGuigan Funeral Directors for the dignified and thoughtful manner in which the Funeral arrangements were carried out. To Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music and to the gravediggers who prepared Brian’s final resting place. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on Brian’s soul.

Brian’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday June 27, 2021 at 10am at St Mary’s Church, Rouskey.

Seats must be pre-booked. Text or Whatsapp 07798 941452 after 7pm or send a private message to Badoney Lower Parish Pastoral Council Facebook Page.
